We’ve been amazed and grateful for the folk who have already donated to support The Link magazine — Thank you!

It costs somewhere between £600 and £800 to print one issue of The Link magazine (all the work of putting it together, and distributing it is done by volunteers).   One copy costs about 76p to print, and then we have a few other costs as well, so if you were able to contribute £8.50 towards the ten issues printed each year (or more, or less), that would pay for your copy for the year.  

If you would like to do that, or to make any other payment or donation, you can do so in a number of different ways:

  If your software throws up a problem with our name - apologies, we're trying to simplify it.  Providing the sort code and account number are correct, it should all be OK!

• Dropping off a marked envelope to Orton or Tebay Village Shops
  or give in an envelope to a member of a local church.
  Cheques can use the same account name as above

• Setting up a off-off, monthly or annual electronic payment to The Link

We all very much appreciate your support for this shared church and community magazine going to our local communities.

Setting up an electronic payment: repeating payments

You have several options - if you want to give regularly by direct debit (which gives us the authority to take the agreed amount, at the agreed time, on an ongoing basis.  This is probably the best option for us - and for you it is 'set and forget'.  You can, of course, at any time cancel your direct debit authorisation.  Our payment collection partners, GoCardless and Stripe, are fully regulated, protect your information, and behave professionally at all times.

• to give us £10 annually (which covers your magazine plus the some of our admin costs) - click here, and then follow the instructions.

Regular income is really helpful to us, so if you did want to give monthly, you could always:

  While we understand that you might want to give us a smaller amount monthly, the payment processing fees on small amounts get bigger for us, so we'd rather you gave annually

If you would rather give us a one-off donation, that would be great too - we have some temporary issues with Stripe who process these payments for us, so this method is not available at present.
